The insurance industry’s Experience Modification Ratio is its yardstick for determining a company’s safety with 1.00 being average and less than 1.00 being safe. Since we began operation in 1961, Congleton-Hacker’s average each and every year has always been less than 1.00. That safety record is puts us in a category where few others qualify — particularly in light of the self-performing nature of our company.

Our consistent safety record for more than five decades reflects our philosophy that safety isn’t only a legal requirement. It’s a moral imperative.

Every Congleton-Hacker project manager, project engineer and project superintendent is OSHA 30 certified, has received Red Cross First Aid and CPR training, and has obtained KSHE Infection Control training.

We also are a longtime member of the Associated General Contractors Self-Insurance Fund.
