Project Description: A new classroom and fellowship hall give the First United Methodist Church 29,600 square feet of new space. The first floor contains an open fellowship/gallery area, day-care center and choir practice room. A new commercial kitchen and gymnasium/fellowship hall with a stage for productions is housed on the second floor. The project also include a lighting and sound system for stage productions. An existing classroom building, as well as two other ancillary buildings, were demolished to make room for the new addition.
Firm Role: As construction manager at risk, Congleton-Hacker provided preconstruction services and served as the general trades contractor.
