Project Description: This project involved the demolition of an existing business wing, site utilities relocation and the construction of a 93,000 square-foot, six-story addition to a fully functioning hospital. Overlapping part of the schedule was a 92,000 square-foot-renovation of the existing building. The work was fast-tracked into logical construction sequences with corresponding design releases and bid packages. This type of complex, multi-pronged project was accomplished through Congleton-Hacker’s approach of assigning one team to each project to create a seamless effort. We can help you select best value and most efficient design because the same people handling the bidding also serve in the role of construction manager.
Firm Role: As construction manager at risk, Congleton-Hacker provided preconstruction services, including conceptual estimating, GMP estimating, constructability analysis, value engineering, fast-track development, critical path scheduling, bid package definition and management of owner-purchased materials for sales tax savings. Our construction phase services included total responsibility for schedule, cost and project management.
