After unveiling preliminary plans in April for a $30 million outdoor music venue in Elizabethtown, the lead architect returned with renderings further detailing the 55-acre site.
At a joint meeting of Elizabethtown City Council and the Tourism and Convention Bureau, CMW Vice President Brad Boaz shared the images and plans Monday of the venue at Buffalo Lake.
“This project is nestled in the woods,” Boaz said. “It’s going to feel worlds apart from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and will have a multiplicity of uses that hopefully creates memorable experiences.”
Themed as A Walk in the Woods, the renderings show a pie-shaped venue with up to a 10,000-spectator capacity surrounded by trees and the lake as a backdrop behind the stage “made to feel like a park,” Boaz said.
