BAPTIST HEALTH LOUISVILLE MRI REPLACEMENT
This project represented a challenging replacement of an MRI. The existing MRI utilized a 2” thick steel box as it’s RF shield. The hospital had also expanded around the room over the years. Congleton-Hacker had to help devise a successful path to get the old machine out and remove a portion of this existing shield for access for the new machine.

BAPTIST HEALTH LOUISVILLE SURGERY EXPANSION
This project is a multi-phased renovation than has included over 50 phases and spanned over 4 years. Included in this project is a relocated Sterile Processing Division, new 38 bed Main Surgery Prep/Recovery, new 24 Bed PACU Unit, 4 New Orthopedic Operating Rooms, a Cardiovascular Hybrid OR, and new Cath Lab, and Neurology bi-plane Hybrid OR, 3 new Neurology Operating Rooms, 5 new General OR’s and one Vascular Hybrid Operating Room, a new 30 bed Observation Unit Addition.

BAPTIST HEALTH LOUISVILLE CARDIAC CARE BED EXPANSION
This project involved the phased construction of 57 patient rooms, which included 21 Cardiac Care ICU beds, 31 Cardiac Care Interventional Unit Beds and 5 Ante-Partum Beds. Complete relocation and replacement of MEP systems was also included in the project.

BAPTIST HEALTH HEART INSTITUTE
This project consisted of construction a new 240,000 SF, seven story building which included an outpatient surgery suite, cath lab department with six procedure rooms. The cardiac rehab center included 120,000 SF of medical office suites and a 30,000 SF educational center and dining facility.

BAPTIST HEALTH PATIENT BED TOWER
This project consisted of six buildings, two parking garages, new dining facility as well as a 460,000 SF, eight story patient bed tower building. The bed tower included a cancer center with two linear accelerators, ICU, med surge, mother baby unit including NICU. The project also included an addition to the cath lab, and an expansion to the existing central utility plant.

WOMEN'S HOSPITAL AT SAINT JOSEPH EAST
This complex and highly technical project involved seven major components of the hospital’s Master Facility Plan. The project included a 95,500 SF Women’s Hospital, an 18,000 SF addition for Cardiac Services and Laboratory with an 18,000 square-foot internal renovation, a 9,100 SF endoscopy fit-up, a 10,300 SF utility plant addition, two overhead interconnecting pedestrian walkways and more than nine acres of new roads and parking lots.

SAINT JOSEPH HOSPITAL
The project involved 92,000 SF of renovation and equipment installation coordination in significant areas including Emergency Imaging, Cardiac Services, Endoscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Dialysis departments. The project was broken down into 34 logistical areas that were sequenced to meet the hospital’s requirement to continue operations during construction. Coordination of MEP work was a critical aspect of the project.

SAINT JOSEPH JESSAMINE
This project involved the construction of a 42,700 SF ambulatory care hospital for Jessamine County’s first hospital. The scope of the work included an emergency services department, imaging development, physician practice offices and a heliport. The project was constructed in an 11-month period from the foundation excavation to the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

HEALTH FIRST
This project entailed construction of a two story, 35,000 SF full-service medical clinic with an outpatient dental operatory to serve as the medical provider operation of the Fayette County Health Department. HealthFirst utilized a metal panel and curtainwall façade to provide a long lasting and virtually maintenance free building exterior. The interior was designed to the most current healthcare standards and practices to ensure a sterile and inviting environment for the user group. This project utilized LEED standards in both the design and construction.
